Investing in Dreams: The 2026 Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Scholarship Luncheon

On May 20th, 2026, our team had the honor of attending the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber's Annual Scholarship Award Luncheon and we left feeling more inspired than ever. The theme this year, "Investing in Dreams, Empowering Futures," captured exactly why we're so proud to be a part of this incredible organization.

Why We Support the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber

At Bridge City Contracting, we believe community success isn't a side project, it's part of the foundation of everything we do. As proud sponsors of the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber Scholarship Fund, we get to play a small but meaningful role in helping young Latino students and first-generation college students take their next big step. The Chamber's mission of investing in Oregon and Southwest Washington aligns perfectly with our own: lending a hand, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities for everyone.

Meeting Our Scholarship Recipient

One of the highlights of the luncheon was getting to meet our scholarship recipient in person. Hearing about her goals, her drive, and the path she's working hard to build for herself was an unforgettable reminder of why we do this. Scholarships are about more than tuition — they're about opening doors, building confidence, and showing students that their community believes in them.

Building More Than Buildings

We talk a lot about craftsmanship at Bridge City Contracting, but craftsmanship isn't just about the work we put into homes and businesses. It's about the care we put into the community we serve. Supporting the next generation of leaders, professionals, and dreamers is one of the most rewarding parts of running this business and we're grateful to organizations like the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber for giving us a way to do that.

To our 2026 scholarship recipient: congratulations. We can't wait to see everything you're going to accomplish. And to the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber team….. thank you for the work you do every single day to invest in dreams across our region.
